A downloadable two-page dungeon

As part of playtesting my new tabletop RPG VERSE, I butchered Skerples's famous 16-page dungeon Tomb of the Serpent Kings down to two dense, abstracted pages. Obviously, I had to cut out a decent bit, but I feel I was able to keep most of the core elements, as well as the instructional aspect of the dungeon, intact (though your impressions may differ).

This is certainly far from the most elegant one-ish-page adventure, and it's far from a perfect example of what the approach used for VERSE can do. It was more of a creative exercise to flesh out the system, but it should give you enough of an understanding to make your own dungeons and modules, or convert your favorites, to playtest VERSE further if you wish.

Try it out with the current version of the VERSE playtest, and check out the original dungeon, if you haven't already, to see how it compares.

This adaptation is released with a CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. It's based on and reuses portions of Tomb of the Serpent Kings by Skerples, licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.
